Don’t get me wrong. Designers DON’T HAVE to know how to code. They’ll just get access to fewer cool projects than those who do.
Just an unfortunate truth. You don’t have to be a web developer or literally build site yourself from start to finish, but it is important to understand the medium you’re working in before put something together that shows you have no idea what you’re talking about or how the end user interacts with the internet. I’ve seen this happen first hand. Thoughts?
