THE HUNGER GAMES – GIRL ON FIRE Game & Explore

brain-food: It’s a free download on your iPhone/iPad/itouch, and a pretty entertaining game. I’ve been playing it for the past hour now. Plus, it’s free! Download

The graphics are well illustrated. The levels are wonderfully-art directed. There was a lot of attention to detail here. The gameplay is easy to pick up while still challenging. I would recommend picking this up. Now. Great example of a cross-medium campaign. This had to have been planned way in advance.

Anyone seeing the movie opening weekend? I’ll be doing my best to avoid the Tween crowd. I will not let them ruin this for me.

Those clever Canadians.

thenextweb: Brilliant as the agency is, PaperPlane, a street and guérilla marketing blog reports that the TAXI team has created a blunt, yet completely original PR stunt to draw attention to the app. The message here was to encourage drivers to use the app, or else the following just might happen to you. Who the hell is this guy?

Who the hell is this guy?

Oh wow, someone's actually reading this? OK, this is happening. My name is Alex and I'm a designer with slight anti-social tendencies. I'm black, live in the DFW metroplex, work at an ad agency, and drink alone in the dark on week nights. While being black, I write this blog as a creative outlet when not starting flame wars over the best episode of Battlestar Galactica (Gaeta's Uprising or The Final Five Revelation of course). I share interactive & design inspiration, the latest in pop culture, movies, and general nerdery.

I am currently unmarried and live alone. I make egg sandwiches and have no pets. I like eating tacos with no pants as well.
