slabText, a responsive web typography plugin. visit site

Interesting, somewhat similar to Paravel’s “FitText.js”. But, there are some definite typographic differences I’m seeing in terms of options. Here’s a description:

Put simply, the script splits headlines into rows before resizing each row to fill the available horizontal space. The ideal number of characters to set on each row is calculated by dividing the available width by the CSS font-size – the script then uses this ideal character count to split the headline into word combinations that are displayed as separate rows of text. More examples can be viewed further down the page.

It’s a terrible analogy, but those kind of Rocky odds are what nearly every new independent brand faces today. While we make it a point to highlight brands like this on a regular basis, in the list below we’ve compiled 20 of our favorites to date in no particular order.

Read on about them all after the break and remember their names, because we don’t expect them to stay small for long.

Saxton Apple Cider

If there’s one thing I love more than wheat ales, it’s ciders. Like “Crispin” quality, not that wussy Ace dreck.

How To Eat Food

Huh. Well now I know. And knowing is half the battle. You know what’s worse than candy corn? Those candy pumpkins. They’re the fruit loaf of the candy world.
